The short answer is no, the Doc is continuously perfecting his prescriptions in order to make it easier for car enthusiasts to work on their own vehicle.
My car is old can I still ceramic coat it?
Yes! Absolutely you can. However in order to get the best results. It's highly recommended by the Doc that you perform what's called a "Paint Correction" & a thorough detail, decontamination, polish in order to make sure the surface is as good as it can be before applying our Secret Formula.

How do I know my car is ceramic coated? It's invisible..
Great concern, the best way to test if your vehicle is ceramic coated is by conducting a water test where you'll notice the water beads right off if the car indeed is coated correctly & you'll also notice more gloss in the vehicle's finish from before. If your car was coated but possibly wore off you can give it life by ceramic spraying it every few weeks or so to ensure it's best longevity
